Easy Low Cost Healthy Homemade Salad Dressing
Six simple homemade Healthy Salad Dressing recipes to make your salads not only delicious but EPIC! From sweet to tangy to creamy, there's a flavor for everyone. All made with 100% clean ingredients.
Most store-bought salad dressings are made with cheap low-quality oils and usually, they're filled with processed white sugar. They basically transform the salad that you made with so much love to nourish your body into an unhealthy meal. On the other hand, if you find a salad dressing made with all-clean ingredients, it tends to be on the pricey side.
If you have been following Green Healthy Cooking for a while, you know I absolutely love salads! They are so incredibly versatile and flavorful. Combining flavors and textures is what makes a salad special.
Take this Mexican Quinoa Salad, for example, it is full of colors, textures and flavors in one bowl. It doesn't need much else. But, if you make something more simple, like a carrot salad or a cucumber salad, it is ALL about the dressing. They both have very special and unique dressings. Anybody who's tried them has told me they love them!
Let me show you how to make your own healthy salad dressings at home with high-quality ingredients in under 5 minutes, without breaking the bank.
Cilantro Lime Dressing
This Cilantro Lime Avocado Dressing is a super thick dressing that sticks nicely to the salad ingredients. It is great for salads that have ingredients cut into little pieces. I recommend making it if you know you'll finish it all at once, because it has avocado. Avocado browns and it can't be stored.
Maple Mustard Dressing
Maple Mustard Balsamic Dressing is my number one go-to when I'm in a hurry. It takes less than 2 minutes to prep. Super creamy dressing, great for simple salads based on mostly leaves.
Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing
This Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing is vibrant and flavorful. A super quick and easy healthy dressing that will make you eat salads all day every day.
Greek Yogurt Herb Dressing
This Greek Yogurt Herb Dressing is a super versatile dressing when you have some herbs going sad in the fridge. A nice tangy-flavored dressing made for all the yogurt lovers out there.
Citrus Basil Dressing
An incredibly fragrant and flavorful dressing that is very low in fat. This Citrus Basil Dressing tastes amazing in loaded summer salads with plenty of ingredients.
Peanut Salad Dressing
This healthy Peanut Ginger Dressing tastes incredible with any cabbage-based salad. I absolutely love the smooth creamy peanut flavor on a crunchy cabagge leaf.
